Yes, because solids and liquids are not mixed. The advantage is that urine can be disposed of cleanly, while solids are stored dry, which helps reduce odors. Our patented drainage channel ensures that everything remains hygienic – from use to emptying to cleaning. We use plastic with a PMMA surface sealant. This prevents bacteria from penetrating the plastic. Our clean design offers further advantages: no toilet seat, no edges or crevices where bacteria can accumulate. Thanks to our privacy flap, the solids container remains largely dry. Moisture is transported outwards by the ventilation system.

The optimal use of a composting toilet depends largely on the correct sitting position. Due to anatomical differences, this varies between women and men. Using a composting toilet is somewhat easier for men: sit down and let it flow. Women sometimes need to adjust their position slightly to effectively separate liquids and solids. However, thanks to our large separating insert and privacy flap, virtually no liquid gets into the solids container, and women quickly find the optimal sitting position.

Our TTT system works without water, electricity, or chemicals. It requires no special films or bags. Water consumption while traveling is noticeably reduced. Self-sufficiency increases because emptying intervals are extended and you are no longer dependent on disposal stations. Pure urine can be disposed of in any toilet. Solids can be disposed of with regular household waste. We recommend adhering to local waste disposal regulations when traveling abroad.
