Precautions at the beginning
★ Before starting the installation, check the instructions for completeness and make sure that the specified parameters (toilet version, supply voltage, ...) are met.
★ Before disconnecting the water supply, it is recommended to release the pressure from the line. Therefore, please turn on the power, turn on the pump, open all taps, then turn off the power.
★ Always switch off the on-board power completely before any installations.
★ Have the necessary tools and accessories (water connection solution) ready.
★ Never remove your toilet unless you are certain the new one will fit. Always consult Perfect Van before damaging your vehicle.
★When purchasing the control kit, it is recommended to test it before the complete toilet conversion, i.e., connect it according to the instructions and test all functions. This way you can be sure that everything can be implemented as planned.
Expansion of the Dometic CT4110
★ Disconnect the water supply and, if necessary, fit a quick-release coupling; alternatively, remove the T-piece.
★ Detach the cable from the toilet so that it hangs freely (if necessary, mark and cut the cable, insulate it well accordingly).
★ Remove any potentially interfering panels and covers on the left, right, and top of the shaft.
★ Remove all screws on the front.
★ Remove the covers on the bottom of the toilet and loosen 4 screws.
★ Once all cables and screws are loosened, the toilet can be easily removed.
Installation of the Perfect TT
The TTT toilet does not have the same base contour as the Dometic. However, the external dimensions are similar, so the toilet can be positioned in exactly the same place as the old one. The TTT will not fit if there is a recessed shower tray.
Please check that the toilet is perfectly positioned. It should sit evenly on the floor. The black adapter frame should be flush against the side wall so that the integrated rubber seal can create an optimal seal.
Before final installation, ensure that both the solids container and the urine tank fit easily into the shaft. If not, the recess in the furniture wood will need to be adjusted.
When securing the toilet, start with the side fixings to the furniture wall. It's best to pre-drill small holes with a 3mm drill bit. Use a total of four screws, placing them on the left and right sides. Make sure to position the fixing screws correctly. Don't place them too high or too far out.
Installation of the control kit
★ Remove the control panel from its holder. This is easiest if you approach it from the back (slot side) and push it outwards.
★ Disconnect all connectors on the circuit board. Only the connector with the blue/red/white wire is important. Connect the supplied wiring harness according to the instructions. This should be done by a qualified electrician.
★ Plug the 6-pin PCB flat connector on the wiring harness onto our supplied mainboard.
★ Connect the mainboard to the subboard using the Cat6 cable and perform an initial functional test of the wiring. If everything works – the light, fan (LED), and submersible pump – you can continue with the installation.
★ Insert the circuit board into the control panel and secure it with the supplied retaining clip.
★ Connect the CAT6 cable to the socket on the mainboard and feed it down through the furniture recess into the shaft.
★ Place the new control panel into the recess. If the control panel is susceptible to water contact, we recommend additional sealing.
Installation of the Air Kit or the SOG fan on the Control Kit
★ Connect the external fan to the sub-board as shown in the diagram. Note that when connecting the SOG fan, do not use the switch wiring, but connect the power supply directly.
★ Insert the sub-board into the control housing and close it with
the 2 included screws.
★ Connect the control panel and the control housing using the supplied cable.
★ Position the control unit sensibly on the inside of the shaft. It must be easily accessible, but also positioned so that the integrated light illuminates the tank well and the unit is protected from moisture.
Control kit testing
★ Switch on the vehicle electrical system; if the pump circuit is separate, also switch on the pump current.
