Additional information for competitions on Facebook fan pages: The designated controller is jointly responsible with Facebook (Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2 Ireland) for data processing on the Facebook fan page on which the competition is held, in accordance with Art. 26 GDPR.
1.) Processing of your personal data in connection with the prize draw
We process your personal data for the proper execution and processing of the prize draw and, in particular, for sending the prize.
For the purpose of conducting the competition, the profile name, and, if available, the first and last name of the respective participant will be collected and stored.
To send the prize, we will collect the winner's first and last name and address and forward this data to a shipping company commissioned by us. Your data will not be shared with any other third parties.
The legal basis for this processing of your personal data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (performance of pre-contractual measures and fulfillment of a contract).
If we publish the first and last name of the winner(s) separately on our profile or fan page, or announce it externally, for example in our online shop, this will only be done with the prior express consent of the winner(s) in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.
If participation in the competition is contingent upon consenting to receive our newsletter, we will also collect your email address for newsletter distribution purposes. We use the so-called double opt-in procedure for sending the newsletter. This means that we will only send you email newsletters after you have expressly confirmed to us that you consent to the collection and storage of your data for newsletter distribution in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter a of the GDPR. We will then send you a confirmation email asking you to click on a corresponding link to confirm that you wish to receive newsletters in the future. By activating the confirmation link, you give us your consent to use your personal data in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter a of the GDPR. The data we collect when you subscribe to the newsletter will be used exclusively for promotional purposes via the newsletter. It will not be shared with third parties. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the unsubscribe link provided in the newsletter or by sending a corresponding message to the data controller named above. After you unsubscribe, the newsletter will be discontinued and your email address and any other data you provided in this context will be immediately deleted from our newsletter mailing list, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use your data beyond this scope, which is permitted by law and about which we will inform you below.
2.) Storage duration
After the competition has ended, your personal data processed in connection with the competition will be deleted no later than three months after the end of the competition, unless there is effective consent for further processing (e.g. regarding newsletter distribution) and/or we have a legitimate interest in continuing to store it.
3.) Your rights as a data subject
Under current data protection law, you have the following rights as a data subject, provided the respective legal requirements are met:
